"Sharpness is a bourgeois concept"
- Henri Cartier-Bresson

ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) is a photography technique where the photographer uses long exposure times and deliberately moves the camera creating abstract and painterly images. Mastering the technique provides endless creative possibilities.
With the final picture being blurred you do not need to feel the pressure of needing the "best", most expensive equipment. You just need patience, camera control and a good eye for an image.
Having demanded pin-sharp images for so long, ICM photography is creatively liberating. Working mainly in-camera and continually experimenting I find it to be a much more joyous photography experience.
